Anniversary Trip!!

In November this year we will have been married 10 YEARS!! WOW!! So, we decided to go on a trip by ourselves to celebrate! We did it now as we're expecting a new little blessing in August, and I didn't want to bring a new little newborn on this trip. ;)  We went back to San Antonio, where we went on our honeymoon. It was very special and we had a GREAT time! Thanks Dad and Mom K. and Aunties for watching the kiddos and painting our house while we were gone!!

And just so you know, these aren't necessarily in order unfortunately.

On the plane! We had to get up super early (for me, Amos got up at the time he always does for work) so we could drive down to Minneapolis to catch our flight.

Our first day there we went to Steak and Shake for supper. Even though our Wedding Anniversary isn't until November, our betrothal Anniversary was the day before we left. The day we got betrothed my family and I went out to Steak and Shake, so we decided to go to one in memory of that.

Our second day there we drove over to Corpus Christi and when to the beach! It was SUPER fun, but we forgot to bring sunscreen and we both burned really bad. 

The third day we went to Natural Bridge Caverns. We also went there on our honeymoon. They have two different tours of different caverns you can explore, so we went on the one we didn't go on the first time. We decided we like this one better...other than the 180 steps you have to climb back up to get out.

This is from the 3rd day but we actually went to the Alamo all 3 days! Our main day walking around the Alamo/Riverwalk area was day #1 though.

Hope you enjoyed that little glimpse into our trip!  We were glad to get home though, and our kids (especially the youngest. ;) ) were very glad to have us back.
